I’ve been there… I would look at my images and couldn’t understand why they looked like I had shot in bad lighting, with shadowed sockets, and dead eyes. I quickly found out that I needed to find a way to move the light towards my subject and illuminate her to get the desired look… but how the heck could I do that? Enter the REFLECTOR. I ended up purchasing the biggest reflector I could find and started figuring it out. Over the years, I learned how to harness the light and use it to create stunning straight out of the camera images that required only one minute edits. You read that correctly… because of the reflector, I don’t have spend a ton of time in Photoshop “fixing” lighting issues. A reflector is a GAME CHANGER. Now it’s time to learn how to use one.
Amanda Holloway is finally giving photographers the opportunity to follow along her session sets while watching how she uses her monster reflector to light her seniors. She educates photographers in depth while explaining the details of where the reflector needs to be in relation to the client, which side to use in what lighting conditions, and how to get the most out it in different positions. Each image is posted on screen as the shutter is captured so that you can see exactly what it looks like through Amanda’s lens.
